Dr.Sagal Omar Salad is a Consultant Pathologist, Founder and CEO of Sagal Pathology Center; She is the First Somali Female Pathologist and a Graduate from the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.
Dr.Sagal did her Undergraduate degree in Beihua University, China and then practiced as a General Physician in Mogadishu for three years; She also taught Pathology and Histology to undergraduate medical and health science students in Somalia.
Dr.Sagal currently serves as a Consultant Pathologist at Sagal Pathology Center and a Lecturer at Somali National university (SNU) and University of Somalia (UNISO).
Dr.Sagal is a member of Several Professional Associations including Somali Medical Association (SMA), Somali Pathologists Association (SPA)- Serving currently as the Secretary General, Kenya Association of Clinical Pathologists (KACP), American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
